Franklinville is located on New York State Route 16 approximately 50 miles south of Buffalo, New York. We are nestled in the foothills of the Allegany Mountains. Our town was first settled around 1806, first settled by Joseph McClure. The Town of Franklinville was established in 1824 from the Town of Olean. Our Village was incorporated in 1874. The central core of our village is on the National Register of Historic Places. |

Village of Franklinville meeting summer meeting schedule

This is a reminder that the Village of Franklinville Board of Trustees has revised the summer meeting schedule which states one meeting will be conducted for the months of June, July and August 2013.
Any questions or concerns can be sent to the Village clerk or Superintendent of Public Works during regular business hours.

The Village of Franklinville DPW is currently accepting applications for DPW Assistant. Applications can be obtained on the Superintendent of Public Works web page or at the Village of Franklinville clerks office located at 19 Pennsylvania Avenue. Applications will be received at the Clerk's office Monday-Friday till 4pm. The deadline to submit applications is May 31, 2013. Questions please call 716 676 5703.
